This was one of the craziest rides of my life. In late 2018, out of nowhere, my book "Makers & Monsters" got noticed, and it took me on a journey through 23 cities in the US the following year.

In January, I drove out to my first stop, which was in my own city - San Francisco.

From there, we just kept going - Las Vegas. Seattle. Portland. Atlanta, Austin. Same message, new energy.

I slept in 23 hotel rooms, rode in 15 rental cars, and was on 39 flights. I ate at a random diner in the middle of Death Valley, stayed in a cabin up in the PNW, and did laundry at a laundromat in rural Texas.

By the end of 2019, I had a few more wrinkles and some more inches of hair, but every second was worth it. Thank you to every person who invited me to their city.
